Darrell E. Wildasin

Darrell and his wife, Dorothy, live in Spring Grove. They met at the Forest Park Skating Rink in Hanover. They have two children and four grandchildren. He had his own plumbing business and is retired. Dorothy was a housewife. Darrell’s hobbies are hunting and playing poker, and he is an active volunteer. He is on the Board of the local senior center, President of the Jefferson Rifle Club, and active with the Spring Grove Lions Club where he is on the building board.

 

He and Dorothy have traveled extensively throughout the United States including Hawaii, and they have been to Central America, Europe, the Caribbean, and Aruba. They enjoy attending a wide range of activities including major league baseball and NFL football games, college and high school sports events, live performances of major entertainers, county fairs, and events their children and grandchildren are in.

 

Darrell sometimes thinks about the good old days, and he liked life’s slower pace then. He does appreciate the wider availability of things in the 2000’s.

 

He’s proud of … “Having our children and watching them grow up to be very responsible and respected people in the community.”
